# DISALLOW_FILE_MODS

 * Dear developer,
 * First of all thanks for the nice plugin. I’t seems like a really solid GDPR and
   Cookie solution for most WordPress powered websites.
    We’are running into an 
   issue while using wp-gdpr-compliance plugin in production environment though.
   By setting “define(‘DISALLOW_FILE_MODS’, true);” in wp-config.php, for obviously
   security reasons, the plugin settings are no longer reachable via the Tools section
   in the admin menu (tools.php).
 * I do see why it makes sense to use tools.php but it has that disadvantage. Would
   it be possible to move the plugin settings under settings.php maybe? Or do you
   have a workaround?
