    Hi,

I was wondering what exactly the xmlrpc.php file is/its functions? I’ve noticed a lot of people try to access our website through this (and get locked out).

Would it hurt to disable it? If not, how do we disable it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s a so-called XML-RPC interface for exchanging information between computers and it’s pretty popular among hackers because it can be used to break into a website with easy. It’s not been updated for years. So you should disable it if you don’t use Jetpack (or do not know what it is). You can do it on the Hardening tab.
