    Hello,

I submitted an email to you all yesterday and was asked to submit an online request instead. We have the WPMU DEV PopUp on several pages of our site (free version), however we are using our own form embedded in the popup. We are wondering if there is a way to have the pop up be disabled once they have signed up with the form. If you can please let me know we would greatly appreciate it. Cheers.

    Anna

    Hey there Anna,

    Hope you’re well today 🙂

This is definitely possible but since such feature is not available in the plugin this would have to be custom coded.

I’ve talked to plugin developer and while it’s possible to do, this is also not something we can just provide a snippet for through support. We’ve added it to our feature requests so we will consider this for future development.

If you’re needing this done right away then I would recommend hiring a developer.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

please connect this feature to Mailchimp 🙂

    Hey gregy1403,

    Thanks for posting here 🙂

As I mentioned above, we’ll definitely consider it if enough interest is shown in WPMU DEV forum.

    Have a nice day!

    cheers,
    Bojan

hmm .. i was just thinking .. how would you know if user is already subscribed if you don’t show him popup?

Or put it another way, if we want to hide popup for already subsribed users, they need to enter email first .. or is it cookie thing?

    Hey again gregy1403,

Generally you should open another thread but since you already posted here I’ll respond 🙂

It really depends what type of subscription you’re referring to.

If you’re referring to general WP registration then yes, this is controlled by a cookie and you can set different conditions to display popup.

For example you can use Visitor is logged in or Visitor is not logged in to display popup for logged in users or visitor only, then you can use Popup shown less then to display popup for only specific number of times http://screencast.com/t/W4vOi92DN.

In case you’re referring to some sort of newsletter subscription there is no way out of a box for popup to check for that and in order for this to work this would have to be custom coded where popup would check for specific subscription for a specific user and then trigger if there was no subscription.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hey Michael,

This is just on a roadmap of possible features for future so I don’t have any ETA on this one or if it will be included in the plugin.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Bojan
