I’ve tried to deactivate all the blocks I don’t use in order to save on styling/script bloat. One of these is Image Hotspot.

However, this causes all my Section blocks to have render issues. They don’t display and instead show the “this block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” message in the editor.

I believe I’ve narrowed it down to this block, as I enabled all the others and confirmed that switching Image Hotspot on/off reliably creates/solves the problem.

It appears to affect all Section blocks, but no other blocks. (Just to confirm, I haven’t used the Image Hotspot block in any of them.)

It doesn’t appear to cause any problems on the front end, but I do need it to work in the editor since I will eventually hand the site off to a client.

Any chance this can be fixed, or is my only option to keep the extraneous block enabled?

    Hi @fox-lee,
Thank you for reporting this. I’ve managed to replicate the issue. We will do our best to fix it as soon as it is possible.

Hey, @fox-lee and @dimned. For me it was the exact other way around (see this thread). I had to disable the image hotspot block to fix the problem of section blocks not working in the back-end.

    Hi @fox-lee,
We have just released a new version of the Getwid plugin 1.6.5 where the issue with Section block should be resolved. Could you update the plugin and check if you still experience an issue?
