 * Hi, i have a google analytics plugin that optionally can insert the gtag …. and
   I have your plugin that inserts directly the gtag but “only” for the google ads
   part…not the google analytics ID… so I would like to disable your plugin gtag
   and manually create one with GA id and ADS ID…do you think disable your gtag
   is possible?
 * thank you very much!

 * Hi, i need to know if the gtag can be disabled because we have it already installed
   your plugin in more than one site, and using google analitics and google ads
   we need to disble one gtag instance to work the best way…
 * thanks

 * I second this.
    I believe the usage of 2x gtag.js installs cripples our custom
   coded events. I would like to use [send_to parameter](https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gtagjs/sending-data)
   to send my events towards the analytics account and after hours of troubleshooting
   I assume that having 2x gtag.js loading might mix things up.

 * Hi all
 * I’ve added the ability to disable the gtag in the new version (1.6.1).
 * Two things to consider.
 * It is important that the sequencing of the gtag and the event is in the right
   order (first gtag then event). When you use our plugin this will always be right.
   Therefore we recommend leaving the gtag on.
 * Also, it is not a problem to have more than one gtag on the website. While this
   does not look very nice, it certainly does not inhibit the functionality in any
   way.
 * If you want to deactivate the gtag in our plugin, make sure that the sequencing
   is correct, otherwise the conversions will not be reported.
