# Disabling email

 * Greetings, I disabled the mandatory filling of the email, as well as all notifications
   to it, but when posting comments, various mail of the type [68f07ddc76a2d@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/disabling-email/68f07ddc76a2d@example.com?output_format=md)
   appears.
   And on the site mail then comes an error that the mail does not exist,
   how to fix it? Thank you!

 * Good afternoon, there’s an update, the problem has been resolved, but an even
   worse problem has appeared: if a comment is left anonymously and without an email
   address, notifications about the user’s response start appearing on other emails
   that previously didn’t receive notifications.
