Disabling comments without having them wait in moderation

Hi Everyone,

We do not allow comments in our posts, but somehow they sit in moderation – so we got nearly a million comments in moderation in the queue. Is there a way to just not have comments even go to moderation – we don’t want any of them and we’d love to just delete the whole lot in one key stroke. Right now you have to go page by page, which obviously is not something we’re going ot do. Can you give suggestions?

Just now I changed the settings so that nothing is held in moderation – as before it held it in moderation if it had a link in it. Since I set it to not allow comments to be made – should then at this point nothing be saved in our queue of to be approved comments.

Finally, is there any way to delete all those comments in one shot?
