    Here is my blog:
    http://think3x.com/blogs/investing/

On the side bar, you can see the About section, which I have 2 pages, “About” and “Risk Disclosure.”

If you click on “About,” it shows the page but doesn’t allow readers to add comments.

But if you click on “Risk Disclosure,” it shows the page but ALLOWS readers to add comments.

I couldn’t find any place where I can disable comments on my pages. I don’t want comments on *any* page. I want to comments to go with blog posts only (which is working fine).

Could someone tell me how I can disable comments on pages?

    Thanks in advance!

  • There are the options to turn off comments on pages..

they might not be displaying for you.. click the screen options button in the top right hand corner of the screen when you are ‘edit’ing a page (should be just below where it says ‘Howdy, USERNAME’)

In this screen options section make sure the Discussion checkbox is ticked. Then scroll right to the bottom of the page and you should see a section that says
    ‘Allow comments.
Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.’

uncheck the allow comments checkbox and ‘update’ your page..
