# disabling auto-formatting

 * I just want to write raw html but wp thinks it is smarter than I am. I disabled
   the stupid visual editor, but that didn’t work. I searched for a solution. Is
   installing a plug-in the only way around this “feature”? WHY IS THERE NO OPTION
   TO DISABLE THIS?

 * Thank you. So that will allow me write raw html? Why the hell is this the default
   and there isn’t an easy way to turn it off? I just tried to insert an iframe 
   for a google map and it changed the iframe tags to br tags! WTF?!? I am really
   starting to hate wordpress. but I have to use it for work, so…
