Fluid Checkout does not add animations to the place order or other buttons on the checkout page.
The animation is likely being added by your theme.
1. What is the website URL where this is happening?
2. Is there a way to test placing an order without completing payment? Just so I check it.
In any case, it would be a good idea to check with your theme support team if there is a way to remove the animations.

I checked your website and it doesn’t seem like you have FluidCheckOut active on your page. Could you provide us with a screenshot or video of the animation you are referring to?
Also, the test link you sent is returning 404 not found.
