I use Avada Theme and I can put a search bar on a specific page and search on the actual page. But the specific search bar use the searchIQ plugin and search on the entire website!
Is it possible to disabled the searchIQ on the search bar on a specific search page ? Or say to this specific search bar to only look on the actual page ?
@ldodier We are unable to understand the requirement.
Do you want to keep SearchIQ active on a specific page? If so, please share the page URL.
Or do you want to display some specific pages in the search results and exclude other pages?
So on this page https://diy-robotics.com/tutorial/ under the title we have a search bar, and I dont want it to use searchIQ or use it but only search on the page.
But keep searchIQ in the search bar in the menu.
Is there a way to say to a specific search bar to only search in the page it is ?
@ldodier By default, the search box name defined in the SearchIQ settings is ‘s’ and it looks for the search bar with the same name to display the search results.
So, please change the search box name for the search bar you don’t want SearchIQ to display results. You can change it to any other value other than ‘s’ and SearchIQ will not work.
