• Here’s a peculiar thing. I have a main website (as above, before the fwdslash) and a related site in a sub-directory (as above) running a separate installation of WP. All WPs up-to-date, all themes and plugins up-to-date. But … when I enable PHP 7.0 for the main site, the homepage of the sub-site more or less disappears, leaving the menus and sidebar intact. The sub-site homepage is almost identical to the main site homepage, same slider, same boxes of related links etc etc. I realise how obscure this is, but if anyone has suddenly acquired a lightbulb above their head, let me know – it will be much appreciated. Sorry I can’t run the Juniors page broken, but it’s a live site, so I’ve run it back to PHP 5.6 …

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello giddykipper,

I would suggest you install the Health check & PHP Compatibility Checker and see after enabling PHP 7.0 what they report.

Might be there can be any plugin or function within the code which is obsolete and generating the PHP error or warning.

    Hope this info helps.

    Thanks.
