Disabled DataTables JavaScript Library

    Hi,

    I’m trying to add entries to my table, but each time I save them, the DataTables JavaScript Library features automatically disable. I manually check all the boxes before saving, but when the page reloads they are unchecked again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both TablePress and the Table Row Order extension, and this hasn’t fixed anything. I’m still a beginner and really afraid to break anything. Could you help me fix this issue?

    I have also been having trouble saving the past few times – I get this error:
    Saving failed: AJAX call failed: error – . Try again while holding down the “Shift” key. I read on a different thread that this would need to be sorted out with the hosting – could this be the cause of the sorting issue?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is indeed all caused by that AJAX error. The cause for this is the server configuration, as mentioned in those other threads that you already found. Unfortunately, I can only suggest to contact your webhost about this, as they will need to check the error logs and then adjust the server configuration.
