    Hi there,

Overall this is a great plugin! I had a few questions though:

    1. Is there any way we can disable the “view list/edit subscribers” functionality. I’m sort of concerned about possible accidental subscriber deletions within WP or in the rare case somebody unauthorized being able to see the full list subscribed emails/names in the WP backend. I guess it’s a security/privacy thing I have in mind.

    2. Probably a dumb question but in regards to the view list functionality, these names/emails/subscription info isn’t stored in the database in anyway, correct? I assume it’s just pulling from the API and not stored on the server after it’s called?

    Thanks so much in advance!

    Hi Brandyn1,

Are you referring to the ‘View/Edit List’ action links in the dashboard? Which page excatly? You can use CSS to hide the action links, I’m not 100% sure if it would be possible to remove them using a filter we have built in. But knowing which page would be helpful in providing a solution.

To answer your second question, that is correct. None of the data is stored in the database in terms of your mailing lists, or any one on it. These are stored in a transient (temporary cache) for 2 or so hours, and then refreshed when the page is hit again. Nothing is stored in the database in terms of user info.

    Thanks,
    Evan

If I am not mistaken, we only show the “View/Edit List” options to admins (right, @eherman24?). So if you have Editors and below they will not see that option.

This would only be an issue for folks you give admin access to.

    Thank you for the feedback,

    Hi Evan and Tracy,

Thanks for such a quick response!

I am talking about the (Easy Forms > Mailing Lists > [Select list name]) page. The lists page where I can “view info.” or “unsubscribe” a user using the action links right in the dashboard.

I think CSS might do the trick to hide those action links on that page and maybe the emails too (because honestly none of my admins need to view subscriber info or be able to delete a sub from the site) but I haven’t tried it yet.

Thanks for answering my other question about the user data database stuff.

    Thanks!
