# Disable the script

 * Hi there,
 * I tried to dequeue the script of the plugin and load it from my theme but I still
   get this error:
    `wpslSettings is not defined`
 * Can you help with this?

 * Did you set the script handle to ‘wpsl-js’ as well?
 * The [wpslSettings var](https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-store-locator/tags/2.2.14/frontend/class-frontend.php#L1824)
   is required to be included for the map to work.
