Disable specific shipping method when PayPal is selected as payment method

Hello,

My customers can select between free shipping and tracked shipping.
Payment methods: PayPal and bank wire.

I want to disable free shipping if they select PayPal in the checkout page, so the customer is forced to choose tracked shipping. How can I do that?

It is possible because there exist plugins for that, but they cost lots of money for such a simple “feature”.

But I can’t figure it out how I can make it work for my website. The link on stackoverflow is great, but there is something wrong. I am not a programmer, so I don’t know what is wrong with the code…
