  • Hello @jkmwp,

Can you open up a support ticket from the support form – https://wpastra.com/support/submit-a-ticket/

I will send you a child theme where I have removed the schema markup by overriding the templates from the Astra theme.

We are also working on improving the markup of the theme to make it possible to remove the schema markup using actions/filters and not needing to override theme templates, as that will be a recommended way to remove schema I am avoiding adding link to modified child theme here as other users might also use this in future.

I’ve created the support ticket. Thanks.

    Hello,
Plus 1 for having the option to disable particular schema markup in Astra. I love the theme but this feature will be of great help for all of us who want to improve SEO by implementing our own structured data or websites that are about a person, not organization, for example (I am struggling with both right now). Thank you in advance!

    Hi @faithmarks ,

Please open up a support ticket from the our support form for your request.

Would not mind this option too. I’m having lots of conflict with schema being added by dedicated plugins.

    Hi @sizzlefoodblog ,

As of now there is no such option to disable default schema that comes inbuilt in theme, but if you wish any schema to be removed then please open a ticket in our support center so that we can provide you the child theme zip which include the disabling of your desired schema.

If you have any other plugins that puts their own schema then you should contact the respective plugin author who would provide you the solution for that.

Hello, I’m opening a ticket too. Just want to say that having the option to enabling/disabling the schema markupt would be awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing this 🙂

Thank you Nikhil for this AWESOME theme.. I have also open a support ticket, waiting for child theme function to override default schema markup.
    Cheers
