Disable shipping removes billing address link

    On a brand new install of WordPress, with no plugins active except WooCommerce …

    I activate WooCommerce and run through the setup wizard, selecting downloadable product type. Then I visit WooCommerce settings and select “Disable shipping and shipping calculations”.

    When I visit /my-account/ the “Address” label is missing in the navigation menu, making the item un-clickable. If the user wants to edit their billing address there’s no way for them to get there.

    I posted this before and thought it must be my error, but I’ve just confirmed this on a completely fresh installation with nothing else running except a blank WordPress and WooCommerce, so am posting it again.

    Hi @aljuk – I’m having trouble duplicating this, but I don’t doubt something could be occurring. Do you mind sending us a copy of your system status report from the fresh install you’re referring to? You can find that by going to: WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > ‘Get system report’

    Hi @aljuk. I’m not seeing any red flags in your system status report.

    Are you still having this issue with the latest version of WooCommerce? I just tested following your steps and see the following with my admin account:

    I tried to replicate the same as you but couldn’t. What if you try to purchase a product on the site? Are the billing address fields missing? If not, after checkout, does that change the availability of the Address tab in My Account?
