Yes, from our Pro version plugin, it is possible to deactivate the Delivery Date field for specific product category using Custom Delivery Settings tab.

From our Pro version plugin, you can set the different date and time settings for different shipping methods or for a different product category or for different shipping classes in the Custom Delivery Settings tab present in the plugin’s Settings page.

We have changed the tab name from ‘Settings by Shipping method’ to ‘Custom Delivery Settings’ tab. The post describes how to set up the different delivery settings for shipping methods but you can follow it to set up different delivery settings for product categories too.

You can follow the below steps to hide the delivery fields for a specific product category:
1) First, select the product category in the ‘Product categories’ drop down box of the ‘Settings based on’ setting.
2) Then disable the ‘Enable Delivery Date:’ checkbox present under the Date Settings section on the same tab.
3) Then click on the Save Settings button.
