Of course. Dashboard – SpeakOut! – petition – edit petition – uncheck “confirm email”

yes, but in this case, as I understand, people wont receive confirmation messages. But I need to send confirmation messages, but without putting email twice in the form. Is it possible?

As someone who has been working with websites for over 20 years, believe me when I tell you that no matter how many times a person has typed their email address, sometimes they will make a mistake.
It is standard practice, especially when requiring confirmation, for email addresses to be entered twice to ensure accuracy.
Here’s the other part of it. If you require confirmation and the person makes a typo, they will never receive it and their signature won’t be added to the list. Is it worth it?
I am interested in hearing why you would want only a single email field.

Thank you for quick response. Well, more fields – fewer people will start filling out the form…

And, of course, the length of the form…
I hear ya…
If your petition has value and people are motivated by it, one more field won’t bother them.
This is the first such request, since I do all the work on SpeakOut! for (very, very, few) donations, I am unlikely to spend the amount of time required to implement an idea that isn’t really needed and I don’t even like 😛
But I sincerely appreciate you asking and engaging in a conversation about it.
