  • The role mapping feature apparently wants me to be a subscriber instead of an admin since the update. I have to use a non-AD admin account to reset my roles but they always get reverted back to subscriber. Deactivating this plugin is the only thing that preserves my admin role between logins. I never used role mapping in the first place and all of my settings are the same as before the update. The error message is as follows.

    [Tue Oct 23 10:14:49.310855 2018] [php7:notice] [pid 29894] [client 10.103.20.5:63318] Entries for search base dc=XXXX,dc=YYYY

Having the same issue. I don’t want/need role mapping. It is actually breaking our intranet. I had to rollback the plugin to the previous version, because removing the role mapping option caused issues for my users.

    Hi,

We are aware of the issue and are working actively to get a new version in place with the switch to disable role mapping. It will be out very soon.

A new version has been released with the switch to enable/disable role mapping. You can update to the latest version to solve the role mapping issues.

The update fixed the issue for me. It’s no longer stripping my LDAP accounts of their roles.
