Disable REST API (Cerber v8.5) & WP v4.2.4 broken?

    Hi There,

    Disable REST API feature doesn’t seems working with my version, although disable feed/rss is fine.
    I have already removed my own IP from white-list but still facing same issue.

    Hi! Check it from an incognito (private) browser window.

    Hi Gioni,

    Thanks for the reply, I have rechecked this in private window (on multiple browsers) but still facing the same issue.

    Even tried disabling “Allow REST API for logged in users” but still all users can see REST data.

    1. In the Main Settings set “Load security engine” to “Standard mode”.
    2. What exact type of REST data is visible?

    Hey @gioni, I have updated the mentioned setting but still facing the issue.

    Option “Block access to users’ data via REST API” is enabled but still we can see user’s data in rest(In private mode also).
    https://www.example.com/wp-json/wp/v2/users

    We are trying to secure our REST endpoints.

    That means you have a poorly designed plugin that conflicts with Cerber and this lead to what you see.

    Hi Gioni,

    Yes, this has been resolved.
    Recently i have updated the plugin & then tried by re-deleting my IP from whitelist.
    It started working in private window & seperate browser.

    Thanks for corporation & cross check after a long.
