Disable Product on Shop Page

    Having the ability to display in the “Shop” or not would be very helpful. Sometimes one does not want certain products from showing on the “Shop” page.

    Maybe a checkbox in the product area allowing to remove from shop listing?

    Feature request, please pass to developers so they can add to list 🙂

    Hi,

    Sometimes one does not want certain products from showing on the “Shop” page.

    Are you wanting to advertise your products in your site and at the same time have the ability to not display them in your shopping cart or page?

    At present by simply not displaying the product shortcode on your site, this means that the product will not be displayed on your shopping cart or page.

    There is a dedicated page that WP Express automatically creates: example.com/shop

    Ability to exclude products for the /shop page would be great. Not every product should be automatically added to the /shop page and be shown to every visitor.

    I understand what you mean.

    You can edit each individual product and change the Status from Published to Pending Review or Draft. This will prevent the product from showing up in the shopping page. That page only uses one shortcode [wpec_show_all_products].

    Thanks! So, I can still sell a product even though:

    If product is pending or draft. how to sell it? Please forgive if I do not understand how?

    The product cannot be sold while in Pending Review or Draft. This is the only method at present that allows you to exclude the product from the shopping page as per your requirement above “Ability to exclude products for the /shop page would be great”.

    I am sorry, it is not a requirement or a demand. Feature request.

    It was a simple feature request. Ability to exclude certain products from appearing on the shop page. As I stated at top “Feature request, please pass to developers so they can add to list “.

    Sorry I have caused confusion for recommending new feature. I will not do it again. Heck, I am even confused now:)
