Disable Portfolio Content Type

I inherited a web site which uses your theme. I am adding a couple custom post types to simplify content creation for the user. They do not use the Portfolio content type. I would like to remove it, to declutter the admin options.

I searched the source of the theme, and don’t see where you are creating it or turning it on. It is not turned on in Jetpack settings.

Please advise.

That said, I’m also interested in deactivating the “Feedback” feature.

Thanks for posting, “Feedback” isn’t something from the theme. There isn’t yet an option for turning off the portfolio post type in virtue free but I’ll add it to the next theme version so the admin is cleaner.

Hmm. Is feedback perhaps part of the theme’s suggested plugins?

I can turn off Portfolio in my child theme if you can point to where it’s created / enabled. I did a number of greps trying to find it and couldn’t

Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing from feedback?

You can use this in your child theme:

remove_action( 'init', 'kadence_toolkit_portfolio_post_init', 1 );

Admin page:
/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback

It doesn’t seem I can insert an image. But it’s a simple content type menu beneath “Comments” that says “Feedback” with submenu options of “Feedback” (post type listing, but no entries) and “Export CSV”. It doesn’t use dashicons for its icon.
