# Disable plugin devs from using big icons & format

 * It’s an eye sore and also this plugin has this huge green icon on the plugin 
   page as well as small green sidebar icon. It’s very distracting.

 * Anyway in the future these pages are kept clean and not allow any plugin devs
   from changing or adding to what is a clean WordPress page format?

 * WordPress doesn’t have a setting for this. Plugin author can add their own image
   on the plugins screen and their own menu icon, so core doesn’t restrict it.
 * You can hide them with CSS, but it has to load in wp-admin. The Additional CSS
   box only works on the front end, so use the admin_head hook and add css in child
   theme functions.php file. Right click the icon and inspect it to get the selector.
 * The icons come from the plugin though, not WordPress, so it’s worth raising there

 * Ah I see. That’s a bummer! I’ve never seen anything like it was so I was a bit
   shocked. I get it, these free plugin’s need it’s own advertising for premium 
   subscription but this one just sticks out like a sore thumb so I’ll just at least
   hide the left column with CSS.
