Disable PHP

  • Hi – great stuff

Is there a recommended way to disable the option for allowing PHP in Simple Hooks?

I have a website hosting network and want to mitigate users being able to execute rogue PHP commands.

I see it in functions.php but want to make sure I edit it correctly. is commenting out or deleting <label for=”<?php echo SIMPLEHOOKS_SETTINGS_FIELD; ?>[<?php echo $args[‘hook’]; ?>][php]”><?php _e( ‘Execute PHP on this hook?’, ‘simplehooks’ ); ?></label>

    going to cause problems?

    thanks

We recommend that you don’t edit the plugin.

The alternatives you have are use Simple Edits or add the code to the child theme functions file.
