Disable order comment on checkout page

    Good evening everyone,

    I’m using Woocommerce in combination with a plugin to manage rental properties (Hotel Booking plugin by Motopress). This plugin already provides checkout fields with a way for the customer to add a comment to its booking.

    Therefore, I don’t use the order_comment function and I want to hide it because it is misleading for the customer (sometimes, I missed important information because the customer didn’t filled the Hotel Booking order comment field but the one of Woocommerce, which I don’t monitor).

    Do you have any idea on how to disable this function or at least hide it to avoid misleading information to my customers?

    are you talking about order notes Yes ? if so Please add below code in your active theme’s function.php

    // Remove Order Notes Field
add_filter( 'woocommerce_checkout_fields' , 'ahirwp_remove_order_notes' );

function ahirwp_remove_order_notes( $fields ) {
     unset($fields['order']['order_comments']);
     return $fields;
}

    Yes exactly, this is the function I’m talking about. Many thanks for your help, the code you gave me is working perfectly! One complementary question: I have now a <h2> title “Additional info” which is no longer useful, as no field is displayed under this title, would you know how to unset/hide/erase it as well?
