Support » Theme: Blocksy » Disable More Items menu

Hello, congratulations on the excellent theme!

I am having a problem with the menu display. We only have 3 items and, instead of displaying all, it is displaying the item “more”. We have enough space for all 3 items to be displayed, so I would like to disable this JS which causes the last two items to be displayed as a sub-item of the “more” item.

    Working:

    Error:

How can I disable this function? Is there a filter for me to use in functions?

    Thanks!

    Hi @marcosalexandre,

Thanks a lot for the words!

Generally, the JS logic for More is pretty smart and knows how to deal with such situations. The issue in your case is that you’ve somehow added this element in the header: https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8uy1Q9l. We’re pretty sure that’s the cause for this.

If you’d show us how you did this, we’ll just adjust the logic of the responsive to take this into consideration and it’ll all be good to go.

Also, if this .ct-sidebar element was in same row with the menu — it’d all work fine. But you’ve split it in another row and this confused the responsive menu logic. Generally, the best way for such customizations is to put the items in the top row and make the row with height: 0. After the top row is completely invisibile, just reposition your element to be on top of the middle row where you need it to be.

Hope the above helps and waiting for your reply on the reproduction.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Here some test prints, with no result ;(

    https://prnt.sc/v4q466

In HTML, we are using a shortcode that prints this search field, however, even removing it, the menu still has this behavior ;(

A filter to disable this JS behavior from the menu would be amazing 😉

    Tks.
