 * Hey – Firstly, great plugin.
 * I am using another lightbox popup and I would like to continue to use it, is
   there a way to disable the lightbox that MLA creates when clicking a thumbnail?
 * When i click a thumbnail, I get 2 lightboxes displayed.
 * The other lightbox I am using is “Responsive Lightbox”.
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for the good words and for your question.
 * MLA does not have any lightbox features of its own. Many lightbox plugins or
   themes that include plugin features automatically add a lightbox to the output
   of the WordPress `[gallery]` shortcode. MLA imitates the `[gallery]` output (
   adding the same class attrributes, etc.) and thus `[mla_gallery]` output gets
   processed in the same way.
 * Here is a recent topic that seems similar to yours:
 * [needless step between image thumbnail and lightbox on portfolio pages](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/needless-step-between-image-thumbnail-and-lighbox-on-portfolio-pages/)
 * It looks like your issue might be the same. If you can post a link to one of
   your posts/pages I can have a look, but you might try disabling “Responsive Lightbox”
   to see if you still get a lightbox. If so, try to determine where it comes from.
 * I hope the above suggestions are helpful. As I wrote, MLA does not have a lightbox
   of its own, but I can investigate further if you can give me more information
   and/or an example to look at. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * I disabled the plugin, which resulted in thumbnail clicks being sent to the image
   attachment page, so it is most certainly the “responsive lightbox” plugin that
   is being displayed twice.

 * There is an example page I have just set up – and wow, I can’t explain it.. but
   now it’s working perfectly fine with only 1 lightbox being displayed, with the
   responsive LB plugin running….
 * My next question, how can I style the gallery to replicate the gallery displayed
   here

 * Ahh, I know why. I added mla_link_attributes=’class=”prettyphoto” rel=”gallery-
   0″‘ to it, which has solved the issue.
 * The second question still stands, how can I get a snug masonry fit? 🙂

 * Thanks for your updates with the good news on your progress.
 * You asked “**_how can I get a snug masonry fit?_**” As with lightbox effects,
   MLA does not have explicit support for sophisticated formats or responsive designs.
   You can find more details and suggested solutions in this earlier topic:
 * [Not working…ugggg!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-working-ugggg/#post-9115612)
 * I regret that I don’t have the time and skill to build these features into MLA,
   but there are so many existing solutions I decided that the “Support for Other
   Gallery-generating Shortcodes” approach would give you good alternatives.
 * I hope that gets you started on a solution for your application. I am marking
   this topic resolved because the original question has been answered. If you need
   more specific help with the masonry solutions in the earlier topics, post an
   update here or start a new topic and I will give you whatever help I can.
