    Hi,

    We are using the Subscribe2 plugin and its working great for when people add new posts, however we would like to disable the ability of users of the site to send an e-mail to “all”. I would like to limit the subscribe2 plugin to only send e-mail notification for new posts.

    Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Cameron

  • @cameron,

    I’m not entirely sure I’m answering your question because I’m not sure I fully understand what you are asking.

    I think you may be asking how you can restrict access to the Subscribe2->Send Email page so that your content authors cannot send emails directly.

    If this is that case have a look in the FAQs under the question heading ‘I want to change the kinds of users who can access the Subscribe2 menus. Is that possible?’

    Hi,

    Yes you have correctly guessed what I am trying to do. Thanks for your help.. I will try to figure out the required code based on the FAQ.

    Regards,

    Cameron

    @cameron,

    The more time I spend on this forum, the better I get at guessing 😉
