    Can someone please advise as how I can disable the Maintenance Mode? I don’t exactly rememeber how I activated it, but I’ve looked under all the settings and have not found a way to deactive.

    Please help! Thank you!

  • What does it look like?

    If it’s the wordpress built in maintenance mode that got stuck on, you’d need to use ftp (or a file manager if your host offers one) to log onto your server and delete the .maintenance file

    I it’s done through a plugin or something, we’d need to know which

    I can still access the admin part of my website. I contacted my host to ask them about the disabling the maintenance mode and they said that it had to be plug-in or something through WP. I looked in WP and there are only 2 plug-ins activated: FB and Akismet.

    My website is http://www.framedbytana.com if you want to see what it says when you try to access it.

    Yeah that’s not the WP built in… portions of your site are firing

    I can’t tell what’s causing it from the source code

    <div id="pp-under-construction" style="text-align:center;width:500px;margin:50px auto;font-size:120%;max-width:85%;">

    Is all I see in the source to hint… not sure where the pp-under-construction comes from? Theme maybe?

    Ok! Thank you! You helped me solve it! I am using prophoto and it was in one of their settings! Thank you so much. It isn’t much help to have a business website that no one can see. 😉

    That’s a fact! Glad you got it working!
