Disable main slider from Blog page

    I am new to WordPress but found your template right away and it is awesome!. I do agree that additional customization is needed and I know you are working on making that possible.
    I probably have an issue with my site but I need to know:
    FIRST Question: How to disable the mail slider from showing on the Blog page (posts page) but still designate that page as my posts target page.
    SECOND Question: When I create a test post and the length of that post exceeds the maximum displayable the (Read More) link shows at the bottom. When I click on the (Read More) link, I get an error page.
    The error page is all white with this text:
    Bad Request
    Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

    The slider can be configured in theme options page.

    And to the second question, can you give your site address and the page address with error.
