# Disable links to decrease spam

 * Is it possible to disable links for a specific field?
 * I’d like to disable links to decrease spam. I couldn’t find anything about this.

 * We don’t have the built-in option to prevent links from being added currently.
 * For spam protection in WPForms Lite, we have integration with Google’s free reCAPTCHA
   service. In case it helps, here’s a detailed tutorial on [how to set up reCAPTCHA in WPForms](https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-captcha-wpforms/).
 * And if you’d prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, you can consider the third-party plugins
   such as [WordPress Zero Spam](https://wordpress.org/plugins/zero-spam/) or [Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk](https://wordpress.org/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/)
   which work out of the box to protect your forms against spam.
