# Disable image resizing

 * I noticed that images gets resized automatically when loading the page. In a 
   FHD screen pictures get resized at the maximum of 1024px wide. But if I resize
   the page the images seems to be changed to another version if not the original
   with more resolution.
 * Is there any way of disabling this feature?

 * I’m not sure I know what you’re referring to. The images do shrink down with 
   smaller screen sizes so they don’t run off the edge — is that what you mean?
 * If not, can you clarify, and also share where you’re seeing that? Also do you
   see the same thing on the theme demo?

 * Thanks for replying. Seems like that’s not happening on the demo.
 * Let me give you an example, this is my blog/portfolio: [https://fecoramirez.com](https://fecoramirez.com)
 * When I open a post and open on new tab an image it gives me this link (1024x640px):

 * But when I zoom on the page the image it gives me it’s this one (2048x1280px):

 * I really don’t know if it’s something about the Theme or Jetpack, I’ve checked
   online and also the theme files but couldn’t find something that helped me. Maybe
   it’s something about WordPress itself?

 * Can you maybe walk us through how you are seeing multiple image sizes in more
   detail? I’m not sure I understood what you are doing based on your description
   so far.
 * Is this an issue on your homepage? Or does it happen only if you visit a single
   portfolio listing like [https://fecoramirez.com/portfolio/antique-chinese-kitchen-cabinet/](https://fecoramirez.com/portfolio/antique-chinese-kitchen-cabinet/)
   for example? What are you doing when you “zoom in” on pages? Are you clicking
   on something on the page specifically? Or is there some other step you are taking.
 * If you can walk us through what you are doing, we can follow the same steps on
   our end, which will help us to take a closer look, thanks!
