Please allow us to in the global settings at least to define defer and async on scripts to only be performed for non-logged in users.

Are you referring to “defer” and “async” attributes that are added to the SCRIPT tags with an “src” attribute? Would you like to apply the attribute only to guest visitors? This is a first-time request and frankly quite unusual and it’s not something that would be taken priority over other upcoming features. Perhaps I didn’t understand your request properly?

Would you like to apply “async”/”defer” for JS files within the /wp-admin/ area? I will consider allowing unloading plugins within the Dashboard in very safe conditions using the “Plugins Manager” options.

    Sorry if it’s confusing.

I want to only apply defer or async to a script for non-logged in users. It can cause issues with page builders and others relying on jquery lib in their framework and UI. But I can and what to defer it frontend for guest users if you understand what I mean. Sure I cna toggle on and off on and off etc but not as convinient 🙂

Have some errors from shortpixel AI plugin which need jquery lib to be loaded early for their sniper exclude tool. But soon they are on vanilla js but I still assume it will be useful for others and other plugins 🙂
