    hi brimosoft,

    finally i plan to launch my gallery with 2k+ folders next week but the "Searching for new images in Eazyest Gallery" makes me crazy.

    i read the plans for 0.2.0 and noticed the topics 58 and 59 regarding the collector action.

    but is there a possibilty to deactivate the collector temporarly until these "features" are available. i think a permanent deactivation would be recommend if the count of folders is numerous. i dont really need the collector beacause all galleries are filled in the backend...

    my problem:

    after successfully running the update script from lazyest everything works fine until i enter the eazyest gallery or media library. the colletor runs ages an kills my folder dates...

    so what does this script really do? it seems to empty the migrated folders (when looking in the backend while running) and refills them!? only the thumbs seem to be regenrated and change the folderdate. why this? there were already there i guess. and with correct dates...

    thank you for response.

    by the way: is there a function to disable "More thumbnails", "Sildeshow" and output of caption for [lg_folder] shortcodes? e.g. paging="false" does not work...

    // Disable Ajax collection
    add_filter( 'eazyest_gallery_ajax_collect', '__return_false' );

    Is that line to disable the process of searching new images when enter in All Folders?

    Sorry but I'm newbie to wordpress, where should I put it?

    Thanks.

    Yes, copy the code into the theme's functions.php.
