• The contact form on a site I am working on sends email to all users designated as Admins to the site (there are 3). I want to stop the email coming to one of those addresses but still continue for the other admins, how can I do that?

  • without digging into the form code, you could try a role changing /creating plugin. Create a new role with the same capabilities as admin.

User role editor is a fairly simple one which should let you do that.

I tried User Role Editor, but it does not edit the Admin roles unfortunately. And that’s where I need the help. Is there any other way short of digging into the form code? (I use other CMSs regularly, just not as familiar with WordPress.)

I thought you might create a new role with the same capabilities as admin, not edit the admin role..

sometimes you can modify plugin code without much trouble, you might ask the author of the plugin, I’ve had suprising success going that route.
