Its on our roadmap to add, this is my all time favourite so far, https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-comments/ so studying this at the moment to see how we can integrate and keep it lightweight
Great to know it`s on your roadmap and yes, I use that plugin to now when I disable comments, so some GPL code from that one would be great .. =)

Great plugin, with the function disable comments, it would be my go-to-plugin since it would replace all the other plugins I use in “the disable category” .. any chance that may happen?
Anyway, great plugin .. Will rate after the comment add-on .. đŸ˜‰
