Disable Autocomplete Orders

    Dear Woocommerce Team

    I am building my Website, where companies can “buy” a free product. Because it’s free, you don’t have to stuck in the payment process and the order state will be set to Complete.
    But Everyone can buy this product. Because of Privacy, only verified orders will be approved – manually. But because the Status is automatically set to Complete, they will immediately get the Free Product, which is giving access to some private Pages.

    Please help me how to disable this function. I have been searching for 5 hours now :/

    thank you for your reply but this is not working for me. I added this:

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_payment_complete_order_status', 'filter_woocommerce_payment_complete_order_status', 10, 2 );

    to my function.php
    Order is complete after purchase
