By default the add to cart button is not automatically disabled after adding a product to cart. It is disabled once the product is out of stock, ie, once checkout has been completed and its stock has been reduced by woocommerce to 0.
In this regard the plugin follows the same exact behaviour as woocommerce does on the single product page. That is the standard expected behaviour.
If you need a different functionality here then it will require custom work. For this you can write in using the plugin support form.
