Support » Plugin: Breadcrumb NavXT » Disabling breadcrumb display on some pages

  • Hi,

    How can the breadcrumb display be disabled on some selected pages?

    Kind regards,

  • At least using Custom CSS
    body.page-id-xxx .container-for-breadcrumbs,body.page-id-xxx .container-for-breadcrumbs … {display:none}
    or
    body.page-id-xxx .container-for-breadcrumbs,body.page-id-xxx .container-for-breadcrumbs … {visibility:hidden}
    If used with Widget Context you can exclude pages

    Note that display and visibility affect differently to the layout, when you must select, which works better

    If you don’t want the breadcrumb trail markup to appear, you normally handle this by wrapping the calling code with an if statement that checks for the page you do not want to have a breadcrumb trail on. See https://mtekk.us/archives/guides/calling-the-breadcrumb-trail/ for an example. Otherwise, you can hide it via CSS as @tapiohuuhaa suggested.
