    Hi roundamerica,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

First, can you tell me a bit about your setup here?
    – Version of BD?
    – Version of WP?
    – Did the tags import correctly, meaning you got the right tags in the right listings?

I’m not sure why they didn’t hyperlink–I’ll need to ask my developer about that. But please confirm the above info.

    BD 3.6.8
    WP 4.2.4
Tags did not import at all. The column heading is “tags”

    Thanks!!!

OK–we did a quick test to make sure things are working and we weren’t able to replicate this on our side. Here’s what my developer said:

Tags should import just fine–at least mine are working here. The customer only mentioned that the column was named “tags”. He didn’t provide information about the field type, the column value or something like that.
Tags should be separated using commas (,). If you need more than one tag per row, then the value should be enclosed in quotes (such as “tag 1,tag2”) as per the CSV standard.

Please try to get more details from the customer (his form fields configuration and a sample CSV). I wasn’t able to reproduce this locally.

Can you please provide a screenshot of the CSV Import screen (at the bottom) where it shows the name of your fields and whether they are required or not?

Also, can you show a screenshot of the tags field configuration under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields? Use http://imageshack.us if you have to.

    Thank you so much!

I was able to fix it with this information. I was missing the quotation marks.

My apologies! Perhaps expand your documentation to give multiple tags as an example.

Thanks again, and sorry I had to take up some of your valuable time. I will submit some enhancement ideas as I think of them. Import of the Link Text for a url is a big one. An Advanced Search Widget. Option to use import to update existing data.

    Glad you got it working.

Please feel free to submit the ideas. I would like to point out that our import already supports updating existing data (do an export first to get the unique sequence IDs of the data, then update the CSV however you wish, and then re-import!).
