    Hi,
We use a very old school shared hosting account for a number of WordPress sites, I have an issue where the “Directories to exclude” does not appear to work (As sub folders contain other WordPress installs I want to exclude them as its trying to scan 20k files which is overkill).
I add entries one per line as stated but when I click save they disappear. No errors from what I can see?
Has anyone else had this issue?

    Hi!

This happens when a directory doesn’t exists. Before the plugin saves the list it checks if a directory exists. Also note: you have to specify the full path for each directory.

Ah, once adding the full file system folder path, the entries do save.
I was a bit miffed why there was no feedback on screen, wish I tried that now before posting in the forum.

    Thanks

I agree, that’s confusing. I’ll add a warning on the admin page in the next release.
