# direct links

 * Hello,
    I’m using NextGEN Gallery with Worpress in the newest version. I have
   a gallery include in an internal website, so you can only access it after logging
   in. The problem is, you can open the pictures with the direct link (for example
   [http://www.website.com/wp-content/gallery/garden/pic01.jpg](http://www.website.com/wp-content/gallery/garden/pic01.jpg))
   without logging into the website. How can I change this (seeing the picture only
   after logging in)?

 * If possible, do a quick search about “Hot-linking” or “Hotlink protection”.
    
   I quote from the WordPress codex:
