    When I protect a file with a password and make it public, when I try 
   to access it it doesn’t even let me enter a password. This didn’t happen before

 * Could you please clarify the issue in detail? Exactly what kind of issue are

   or you can take a screenshot using [Lightshot](https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html).
   This will help us to understand the issue correctly.

 * Hello, if this is the problem, I protect a file with a password and it appears“
   Direct Access disabled!”.
 * Previously, the screen appeared so that you only entered the password and it 
   was downloaded.

 * Unfortunately, as of now in the free version, the “Direct Access Disabled” message
   will show only.
 * Alternatively, you can use the `[wpdm_media id=file_id]` shortcode as well.
