We have configured eShop as a digital download store only and integrated it with our payment gateway. We ran a successful transaction test with our Payment Gateway and arrived at their order confirmation page.

The confirmation page has a button/link that says Continue to Global Resource Investor (which is our website). This button/link can be configured to be anything we like. However, at the moment we are unsure where this button should link to.

We currently have it set to http://globalresourceinvestor.com/downloads which is one of the e-shop pages.

However, when you arrive at this page it asks the customer for their email address and a “code”. So, we are not sure this is the correct destination for a customer that has just purchased a digital download. If it is the correct page, then we are not sure where to obtain this “Code”.

There is nothing in the quirm.net literature about it. Please visit the above link to see this screen.

In addition, we did not receive the automatic default email for the customer or the administrator from eShop. The two test orders we ran are currently listed as Pending and the Transaction ID says Processing.

We are absolutely certain that the two test transactions that we ran with the payment gateway were successful. We think that somehow the payment gateway confirmation page is not currently configured properly to notify eShop. Unlike the 4 days you have often mentioned for Paypal, our payment gateway can either manually or by silent post forward order confirmation details immediately.

Our payment Gateway is DalPay. They provided us with an integration module which successfully placed a form for their gateway on the eshop payment gateway page for configuration and integration. It worked fine through the test transaction stage.

Can you provide some guidance to help us sort this out?

Hopefully its just a matter of providing the correct re-direct information/url in the source code of the payment gateway confirmation page.

    Thank You.

Here is a screenshot of the DalPay Checkout gateway form as configured on the eshop payment gateway page, in case it helps.

Did you manage to code that with the available actions and filters?

If not, please contact me via the form at http://quirm.net/contact/ I can send something that may help you out.

Also, the code for downloads is automatically created by eShop and included in the email sent to the customer. It depends on what is sent to your site from the merchant gateway as to whether you can have it auto appear.

In talking to the programmer at DalPay it is clear that they have only dealt with shops selling tangible goods so far and not digital downloads. These users have been finalizing orders manually. They acknowledge the weakness in their module in not being able to grab the silent post fields (generated for each order) from their confirmation page.

I have forwarded your comments and contact email to them. Thank you.

They have promised to work on this but I don’t have a timeline on completion yet. In the meantime, since the transaction itself is working, is there a way for me to complete the orders manually and thus generate the digital download link for each customer and then forward it via eshop email template?

I’ve explored the test transactions in the order pending tab and its not immediately obvious if there is a way to finalize the order and generate the link.

    Regards,
