# digg.com posting

 * I’m not sure if anyone on this site uses digg.com as one of their main news sources(
   or something they visit often), but I find it to be a great source and much cleaner
   than /.
 * Anyway, I’m trying to use their Blog This functionality to post to my WordPress
   blog (2.0.1) which is at [http://peterfilias.com](http://peterfilias.com).
 * When I try and have its Blog This post to my site, I get the following error:
 * There was an error posting your item – transport error – HTTP status code was
   not 200
 * Could this have anything to do with my WordPress files being in the /wordpress
   folder while my front page is one level up from that? I don’t think that would
   be the problem, but who knows.
 * I even had it try and post the blog entry to [http://peterfilias.com/wordpress](http://peterfilias.com/wordpress),
   but that doesn’t work, either.
 * Thanks for any help.

 * Perhaps their protocol isn’t updated to work with WP2? Never actually tried it.

 * Any resolution for you on this? I’m in the same boat. No joy.
 * I tried entering the URL, [http://www.domainname.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php](http://www.domainname.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php),
   manually, but that didn’t help either.

 * Ok..I copied the xmlrpc.php file into the public_html directory (root) ?
 * maybe I should give the URL:
 * wholesale-pda-accessories.com/mobile-word-press
    xmlrpc.php is sitting in the
   folder: mobile-word-press So I assume that the file needs to be placed directly
   in the public_html Main Area rather than in a subfolder. Do I also need to delete
   the xmlrpc.php file that originally was in the mobile-word-press folder?
 * Than I added the code:
    include(’mobile-word-press/wp-config.php’); to the file.
 * in my file it appears on line 6
 * went back to digg and tried posting again.. still getting the error.. any suggestions?
