 * We are currently using the Timely All in One Event Calendar on the linked page.
Basically I only wanted this plugin to work on the calendar page.
 * After selectively loading it on the main pages and also am “affecting children”,
the plugin mostly works, but there are a few things that don’t work as usual.
 * For one, when hovering above the events, they used to have a mini-window appear,
   but it no longer does.
 * Second, when switching the months on the calendar, it used to just re-load in
the plugin space, but now it opens in an entirely new page.
 * Is there any way to correct this? Ultimately it’s worth losing these features
if it means preventing this plugin from running on every page, but if possible
   a fix would be nice.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fdifficulty-with-complex-event-plugin%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * You need to enable the plugin on [https://ironorrfitness.com/](https://ironorrfitness.com/)
with a plugin filter. It is loading javascript from your root URL and the plugin
   is disabled there.
 * It tries to load the javascript from this address and fails.

 * Thanks for the reply!
 * Hmm, unfortunately the root url is one of the pages that I care most about the
plugin NOT running on. Is there any way to only allow it to run for that specific
   argument?

 * Yes. If you have ignore URL arguments turned off then the entire URL will be
used and you can enter [https://ironorrfitness.com/?ai1ec_render_js=calendar.js&is_backend=false&is_calendar_page=true&ver=2.5.32](https://ironorrfitness.com/?ai1ec_render_js=calendar.js&is_backend=false&is_calendar_page=true&ver=2.5.32)
as the permalink for a plugin filter.

 * Perfect, that works. Thank you! I appreciate it

 * Well shoot, not sure what happened but after running some updates today, the
issue has resurfaced. I haven’t changed any internal settings. Again any insight
would be helpful and thank you for your time!

 * Hey Jeff – sorry to bother, though since originally being fixed – and then somehow
unfixed – I can’t seem to get the plugin to work on that calendar page, even
with the URL permalink filter. If you have any other insights, it’s greatly appreciated!
   Happy holidays

 * It is because the version number in the url changed when you updated to a new
version of the calendar plugin. The URL is now [https://ironorrfitness.com/?ai1ec_render_js=calendar.js&is_backend=false&is_calendar_page=true&ver=2.5.36](https://ironorrfitness.com/?ai1ec_render_js=calendar.js&is_backend=false&is_calendar_page=true&ver=2.5.36)
