• I am looking for a plugin (or another solution) for using different widgets in sidebars on different pages and can’t find a single one which is compatible with the five widget areas of the Esplanade theme (Header, TopSidebar, LeftSidebar, RightSidebar and BottomSidebar). For example, my favorite plugin which I successfully used for the same purpose with other WP themes — WooSidebars — makes a mess in my sidebar by dropping all widgets form SidebarTop area to SidebarRight. At the same time it recklessly shoves all widgets from Header to SidebarLeft. I tried some other plugins — Widget Logic, Dynamic Widgets etc but no luck either. If you have found a solution for a similar problem please, please share the knowledge!

  • Maybe this can be solved with some CSS? Is it possible for you to give me a link to your site using one of these plugins? Let me know a particular page where you are using it and let me know where you want each widget area to be. I will see if I can help you. Personally I like to use Widget Logic, but I’m not familiar with this theme, so maybe it works differently.

Thank you for your kind interest, Laura! But it seems that I have found the plugin! At last! It is Display Widgets. It is fully compatible with this theme. I am so-o happy. My new site is not online yet but it is going to be quite large with many different widgets and this plugin makes my task much easier.
