Different title for each page

I’m using wp as a CMS an want each page I create dynamically to have it’s own title (for SEO reasons). I have changed the permalink settings to date and post name and when I test the page the right name comes up in the browser, but the page can’t be found. They work fine with the default permalink settings. Did I miss something or is it a server issue?
